Types of commission
Please read my terms in the respective tab.I will draw: Some animal elements in humanoid characters like animal ears or wings; Ship art – except for pairings that are canonically without a doubt children/minor x adult; Any social issue / political / religious themed art, except for hateful ones; Genderbending (including trans headcanons); Adaptation of fanart or real outfits, as long as it’s credited; Accessibility tools, even prosthesis with fantasy-themed or steampunk aesthetics; Light Gore, “dark version” or corruption-themed art; Sexy outfits; Complex and fantasy armorsI won’t draw: Furries/anthropormophic; Hateful art or hate symbols (like Nazi stuff); Fetiches - it’s nothing against kinks, but I won't draw it unless it's perhaps something very light; Sexualized children; Sexual content and heavy nsfw stuff; Genitals (I'm okay with boobs tho), Heavy Gore;A combination of characters + background is priced by summing the separate prices.I can make it more anime or use a slightly more realistic style. Below you can see samples of my faces at each end of the spectrum. They are in different painting styles – this classification refers to the drawing, not the painting, and as such the degree of realism of the drawing makes no difference in the price. You can see the painting styles available for commission below, in the section "Character Commissions" - the rendering type you pick, and % of body that is depicted for each character in the commissioned art piece is what determines the price.
Character rendering types
To commission character arts, you will need to pick one of these styles. The price depends on the style, how many characters do you want me to draw, the % of their body that I'm meant to draw and, in case you want full body characters, how complex their clothes are.I will determine the complexity of the clothes. The rest I will ask you to provide in the submission form.

Terms
1. GENERAL NOTES
Make sure to read all the information I say about the style you want to commission. If you have any doubts about style or pricing, you can ask.Feel free to add notes besides what I request in the form, and I will address them as soon as I pick up your commission. If there is anything you would wish to discuss or negotiate, we can do that before either of us proceeds.I have the right to reject any order, for any reason (of course, before payment). I will notify you in that case, and disclose the reason if relevant. The order of delivery will be the order of the request - who asked first gets it first. That said, if someone has urgency, I will try to prioritize that, and I can try to contact other clients to see if they are willing to swap places.2. PAYMENT
Payment methods: Paypal. The email is the same as the one to where you send the form. The payment will be 50% upfront and 50% when I’m done, or 100% upfront. You chose.Don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and requested you to send me the payment (and what value). After you transfer the value of your commission, it means:
• You are sure you want to go ahead with your order and I can start drawing as soon as you do it
• You have read and agreed with the Terms of Service3. REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY
I will transfer refunds via Paypal. If for any reason I accepted your commission, but realized after your payment that I will be unable to deliver it, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your order before I started it, you will get a full refund. If you want to cancel your commission in the middle of the process - that is, after I have started the drawing - you may get a percentage of the refund depending on the amount of work I had to do to get to the point when the order is canceled. I won’t draw any further, but I will also be the one deciding how much the percentage I drew is worth. If you are getting a refund, do not request a Paypal chargeback. Just contact me, and I will transfer the money back to you myself. If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund, I will decline the chargeback and supply Paypal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed part of the work for you.4. PROCESS AND DELIVERY
I will notify you when I have started your commission and you, therefore, lose the rights to a full refund (see above). While I'm working on your commission, I will let you review it at several stages to make sure I deliver a satisfactory result. The amount of reviews depends on the complexity of the work and type of commission, but rest assured that I will never render it fully without your approval of the stage before that.During the reviews, you will see work-in-progress. These images might be smaller than the finished piece. The time it takes to finish your commission varies between half a week to 2 months, depending on factors such as my health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, how my full-time job schedule is (I’m a programmer, so it really varies), and how many commissions I'm taking for the same interval of time. I will give you an initial estimation when I'm sure of what you want, before your payment. If anything comes up that will slow the progress of the initially estimated delivery time, I will let you know as soon as I can.Once the piece is finished, you will receive the full-resolution PNG image. Notice that there is no physical product. What do you get from the commission?
In other words, in what state you will receive your artwork:
• Drafts/mockups/sketches of the work in progress. You can keep the WIPs along with the final piece.
• Full-resolution file of the final drawing, in PNG format (and possible variations like transparent background versions).
• The size is either decided between us, or a fixed size stated in the details for the type of commission you requested.5. REVISIONS/CHANGES
You get about 3 rounds of changes on the commissioned piece while I'm still working on it. By changes, I mean one of these things:
• In your feedback you agreed to something, and change your mind later. If I haven't already made progress based on your approval, I won't require any extra fee. If I have already made significant progress and will therefore have to undo it, I might require an extra fee based on how big the change - unless it was a mistake from my part.
• You change the original order radically, at the beginning/initial version of the commission. The price will be adjusted to the new request.Minor late changes are not a problem and I won't price more for them. But I reserve the right to determine what counts as that.6. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY
I, Anilyan (the artist), reserve the full rights to the image and its use/distribution – not the buyer. Therefore I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:
• Display it everywhere to my liking, like on my website and social media
• Promote myself with it everywhere
• Publish books with it, like artbooks. I might record the drawing process and post it too.I, the artist, will never claim ownership over things that are not mine, and I will explicitly credit the things here mentioned:
• If the art depicts an OC, I will always credit the creator of that OC (be it the buyer or not) unless specifically instructed to not do it.
• If the art depicts a character from another story, I will always mention the character's name and the story it belongs to.
• Outfits adapted from photos will be referenced as such in the image description, with credits if I know who created the outfit/who is wearing them.
• Outfits/characters adapted from someone else's art will always be credited in the description and in the art itself, and the artist will be tagged, if they have an account in the platform where I’m posting the artwork. The buyer is allowed to:
• Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise (you can upload it on all your social media profiles, forums, etc.), as long as you credit the artist. If the size/crop hides the signature and my socials from the art, please include those credits somewhere else on the page.
• Print the artwork
• Claim an OC (original character), coloring or other contributions of yours as such, but not the parts of the artwork that were commissioned (be it the full artwork or just a part, like lineart).
• Use the artwork on a Youtube channel and in monetized videos, as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject for the earnings and you credit the artist.
• Use the artwork in monetized projects or products, such as games, books, bullet journals, etc, as long as the artwork itself is not the main and sole subject for the earnings and you credit the artist. Inform the artist of it and check if your specific case is allowed.
• Change the artwork, if 1) the changes are not posted anywhere; 2) the artist agrees to you posting the changes/it's already included in the list of allowed changes (like coloring a lineart commission), with the post discriminating what belongs to the artist and what is changed by the buyer/someone else in the post description. The following is considered copyright infringement:
• Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially outside the previously stated exceptions – that is, making money directly of it in any way – unless specifically authorized by the artist. In case of doubt, ask.
• Claiming the artwork as your own.
• Posting the artwork on social media without the proper credits to me.
• Removing my signature from the artwork.
• Posting a changed version of the artwork without my consent.
• Claiming the entire artwork as your own if we agree that you can change/edit it - you may only claim what you really did.
• Use it to train AI without my consent - I will decide on a case-to-case basis.7. CONCLUSION TERMS
If the buyer breaks any of the points stated above, they will lose all the beforementioned rights to the artwork commissioned by me, Anilyan (the artist), and I will have the right to profit further from the commissioned artwork in any way I see fit. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted from commissioning me again. I may open an exception in case the violation of the terms was accidental and non-consequencial to me.
Submit a commission
Please read the previous sections in the tabs at the top. This is the form you have to fill to commission me. Just copy and paste it along with your answers, and send it to the following email:
[email protected]I will reply to your email regarding the submission as soon as I can, likely a few days after you send the email at most. Don't do anything else before I contact you.Send multiple emails with a form each if you wish for multiple commissions. All fields are mandatory unless said otherwise.**CLIENT INFORMATION **
» Your PayPal e-mail/name: just in case it's different from the email one
» Other contacts/socials (optional):
***» Deadline: ***You can say “open to negotiation” if you don’t know and want to be considerate of how long I need to draw it comfortably. In any case, you can always specify and I will tell you in the reply if your deadline is too tight or not – we can negotiate from there.CHARACTER COMMISSIONS - If you don't want characters, you can skip this whole section
» Commission type: See the tab "Types and prices" and pick one of the character commission types. They all have a title, you can also just say "type 1" or "skin" (for example).
» How many characters: Just say the number
» Character specification: The name of the character(s) and fandom. If it’s an OC (original character), you can just say that.
» % of body: For each of the characters you want me to draw in the same commission, say if you want me to make a drawing of the face, half-body/bust or full-body. If you are not sure of what do you want yet, say that so that I can discuss it with you.
» Body type / model (optional - this is only for half-body and full-body drawings): If male, female or somewhat androgynous (I will check with you exactly what do you understand as androgynous or you can explain to me in advance). I would also like a generic description of their height and body type. Don't be afraid of asking for body types that differ from a character's official appearance. For Genshin skins, keep in mind that the pose depends on the character's sex and height (tall, medium or klee-like), so I need to know both even if I end up changing the body type according to your preferences.
» Outfits, hairstyle, etc... (optional): Fill this only if it's not their official/canon appearance. You can simply point to the references.
» Pose: Tell me in what pose do you want me to draw the character(s). If you don't have a clear idea in mind, I will discuss with you until we settle on something that you would like.
» Background color (optional): By default, character arts get a version with transparent background and one with a solid/gradient color of your choice, and skins use a background imitating Genshin's character menu.NON-CHARACTER COMMISSIONS - If you don't want a background or icons, you can skip this whole section
» Lineart background commissions (optional - fill this only if you want a background): Describe the kind of details/imagery do you want me to include in the background, and the amount of detail you would like. Even things like borders/and framing make a huge difference, so try to be descriptive - or just tell me to do something similar to the references you attach. I will send you sketches to determine better what do you want before giving you a price. If you want a background for a character commission, don't forget to consider that the final price is the price of both things combined. Remember as well that I only offer detailed lineart backgrounds.
» Icon(s) (optional - fill this only if you want icons): Describe what objects/items would you like me to draw and in what kind of style. You can just tell me to do something similar to the references you attach. Tell me also if you're going to ask for one icon or a collection - I might make you a discount if you want several.OTHER INFORMATION
» References (optional but recommended - attach them as files):
• If you want me adapt someone’s art in the skin, I will refuse to draw it unless you provide the link to the original artwork – I will not adapt uncredited art.
• If you want me to draw an OC or a character/outfit that doesn't have the 3D model on Games Fashion Archive, I can adapt them from a reference or list of references (like one picture for the hair, another for eyes, etc...).
• Clothes and hairstyle references must be useful for the pose you want me to draw. Only showing me the front of the clothes when you want me to draw the character's back view is not very useful. Again, if the outfit/model is available on Games Fashion Archive, you don't need to provide the reference.
• You can give me references for poses, expressions, background props, and anything else you would like to see.
» Observations: Anything extra you wish to tell me
